Cihan Basemir, a 10-year-old who fell into a stream during heavy rainfall that affected the Dörtyol district of Hatay, lost his life. Teams that began a search in Özerli Stream found the little child about 1 kilometer away from where he fell. Cihan Basemir, who was taken to Dörtyol State Hospital with CPR, could not be saved despite all interventions.
In Hatay, where the meteorological service issued an orange-code warning, the heavy rain that was effective during the night hours caused a tragic incident. The 10-year-old child who fell into the stream in Dörtyol lost his life despite all the efforts of the teams.
FELL INTO THE STREAM DURING THE NIGHT HOURS
Heavy rain was effective in Hatay during the night hours. During the rainfall, 10-year-old Cihan Basemir, who was in Özerli Neighborhood, fell into the stream.
FOUND 1 KILOMETER AWAY
Upon notification of the situation, teams launched a search operation in Özerli Stream. The teams found Cihan Basemir approximately 1 kilometer away.
LITTLE CIHAN COULD NOT BE SAVED
The child, who was given CPR by medical teams at the scene, was taken to Dörtyol State Hospital. Despite all interventions at the hospital, Cihan Basemir could not be saved.
