At the International Ayder Forum, during the session titled "Energy and Artificial Intelligence," Dr. Ekrem Teymur, Chairman of the Board of News.com and an Expert in Artificial Intelligence & Probabilistic Modeling, was among the speakers. Teymur suggested the establishment of an R&D center called "Artificial Intelligence for Energy" within the Ministry of Energy, stating, "The entire process, from climate change to the lighting in our homes, should be addressed here and transformed into an AI-supported form."
The world-famous tourism center Ayder Plateau is hosting the 2nd International Ayder Forum this year. The organization, which will end on January 17, focuses on global energy policies, artificial intelligence technologies, and sustainable energy strategies.
In the organization attended by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Project President of the International Ayder Forum Hakan Gültekin, Rize Mayor Rahmi Metin, and Rize Governor İhsan Selim Baydaş, the agenda of "Energy, Security, and Diplomacy" was discussed.
At the forum, under the moderation of former Minister of Energy and Head of the Turkish Delegation to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Fatih Dönmez, the session titled "Energy and Artificial Intelligence" featured the following speakers:

"THERE WILL BE AS MANY ROBOTS AS PEOPLE UNDER THIS ROOF AT THE 10TH AYDER FORUM"
Emphasizing that artificial intelligence will be more advanced than humans in decision-making and implementation in the future, the Chairman of the Board of News.com, Artificial Intelligence & Probabilistic Modeling Expert Dr. Ekrem Teymur stated, "At the 10th Ayder Forum, there will be as many robots as people under this roof. Some of these robots will be on the podium, some will be in the audience, and some will perform various services. We will face a very serious energy bottleneck. If perhaps as many robots as the number of people are released into the market and consume electricity 24/7, the energy demand will reach very high levels," he said.
"THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ENERGY IS TO REBUILD THE ECOSYSTEM FROM TOP TO BOTTOM"
Dr. Ekrem Teymur continued his remarks as follows:
"The use of artificial intelligence in energy is not a software job, it is not a technical project. It is the rebuilding of that ecosystem from top to bottom. For this, just software is not enough. My suggestion is to establish a research and development laboratory named 'Artificial Intelligence for Energy' within the Ministry of Energy. From climate change to the lighting in our homes, the entire process should be addressed here from A to Z and transformed into an artificial intelligence-supported form. When we achieve this, we can look to the future with confidence."
