Fenerbahçe's statement is as follows:
"The incident that occurred while our football player Mert Hakan Yandaş was giving a statement via SEGBİS, which has become the subject of an investigation by judicial authorities, is extremely serious in terms of the state of Turkish sports.
Galatasaray Sports Club board member Timur Kuban's act of recording our football player's image with a mobile phone during a process conducted before judicial authorities, despite being legally prohibited, not only goes beyond being unethical but also contains a clear violation of the law. Immediately after the act was noticed, the relevant person's mobile phone was confiscated by judicial authorities, a report was filed against him, and an investigation was initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. This behavior casts a shadow over both the seriousness of judicial processes and the fundamental values of sports.
It is unacceptable for a sports club official to act in this manner in a situation that is the subject of a judicial process, nor is it a situation that can be legitimized by hiding behind the concept of "rivalry." The law cannot be violated by tribune reflexes or community affiliations.
