In operations carried out as part of a drug investigation in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, searches were conducted in three entertainment venues and 17 people were detained. The suspects taken into custody were subjected to a health check and then referred to the courthouse.
An operation was carried out at a business operating as a restaurant and entertainment venue in Beşiktaş as part of a 'Drug' investigation in Istanbul. While teams conducted searches at two other entertainment venues, 17 people were detained. The suspects were referred to the courthouse after undergoing health checks following their procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institution and the police.
A search warrant was issued for an entertainment venue located on Cevdet Paşa Street in Beşiktaş as part of the 'Drug' investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Teams from the Narcotic Crimes Department conducted a search at the business after the warrant was issued. The teams left the business after completing the search operations.
SEARCH WITH NARCOTIC DOGS
On the other hand, searches were also conducted by teams from the Narcotic Crimes Department at two other entertainment venues on Nisbetiye Street in Etiler. The searches conducted with narcotic dogs continued for a long time.
17 PEOPLE DETAINED
Additionally, as part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 17 people were detained in Istanbul. Among those detained are Samet Demirok, Özlem Parlu, Oğuz Sarıpınar, Elif Karaarslan, Ali Yaşar Koz, Cansel Ayanoğlu, Aleyna Bozok, Büşranur Çakır, Özgür Gökçe, Fikret Aydoğdu, Lena Ahsen Alkan, İrem Şişman, Mustafa Eyüp Çelik, Mustafa Aksakallı, Cem Mirap, Gizem Melisa Alagöz, and Deniz Metin Yüksel.
SUSPECTS BROUGHT FOR HEALTH CHECK
The suspects, from whom hair, blood, and urine samples were taken at the Forensic Medicine Institution, were brought to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital for health checks after the procedures.
SUSPECTS REFERRED TO THE COURT
The 17 suspects, whose procedures at the Narcotic Crimes Department and Forensic Medicine were completed, were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse located in Çağlayan after undergoing health checks at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital.
