Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that operations against drug substances were carried out by the gendarmerie in Hakkari and Ağrı. In Hakkari, 345 kilograms of skunk and 33 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized, while in Ağrı, 773 liters of liquid methamphetamine were confiscated. One person was detained during the operations.

DRUG SUBSTANCES SEIZED IN TWO PROVINCES

Minister Yerlikaya reported that 345 kilograms of skunk and 33 kg of methamphetamine, along with 773 liters of liquid methamphetamine, were seized in Ağrı during the operations. He stated that one suspect was detained, saying, "We prevented the drugs from being distributed to people and harming public health."

Yerlikaya, who stated that the operation was carried out by the Hakkari and Ağrı Provincial Gendarmerie Command as a result of intelligence work coordinated with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices of Yüksekova and Taşlıçay and the Gendarmerie General Command's Narcotic Crimes Department, used the following expressions:
