In a traffic check in Konya, a driver who tested positive for 1.87 promille of alcohol claimed that he had predicted the earthquakes on February 6 six months in advance and that he had evidence to support his claim. While the driver's license was confiscated for six months, he was also fined 9,268 TL for driving under the influence and was taken to the police station for questioning.
Interesting moments occurred during the operation carried out by traffic police on Yeni İstanbul Street in the Bosna Hersek neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district of Konya. A driver named E.Y. was stopped by traffic teams while driving his car with the license plate 42 SH 584.
1.87 PROMILE ALCOHOL DETECTED
The driver E.Y., who handed over his driver's license to the teams, initially refused to blow into the breathalyzer. After long persuasion efforts, the driver blew into the breathalyzer, and it was determined that he had 1.87 promile of alcohol in his system.

While the teams were applying penal procedures to the driver, E.Y. first told the journalists who were filming him, "You cannot publish this footage," and then claimed that he knew about the earthquakes that occurred on February 6 six months in advance and that he had proof.
HIS LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED, A FINE WAS IMPOSED
The drunk driver E.Y.'s license was suspended for six months, and he was fined 9,268 TL for driving under the influence. After the procedures, the driver E.Y. was taken to the police station for his statement.
