March 8, International Women's Day, was celebrated across the country with various events and marches. Some marches, however, turned into "LGBT" propaganda.

In a post on her social media account, Alkış stated, "This mentality, which targets the honor, morality, and family structure of Kurdish women, is not on the side of the Kurdish people or Kurdish women.
