The General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses made a written statement regarding the open visits to be held during the Ramadan Feast.

Accordingly, open visits will be held between March 31 and April 6, with a visiting time of no less than half an hour and no more than one and a half hours for adult and juvenile convicts, detainees, and prisoners, while for child convicts, detainees, and prisoners, the visiting time will be no less than one hour and no more than three hours, between 09:00 and 17:00.

Groups will be formed until the day of the visit, and the visit days and times for each group will be communicated to the convicts and detainees to inform their families.

Additionally, the prepared program will be posted in the wards and in suitable places where visitors can see it. To prevent congestion, escape, and disturbances, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the institution's management will take all necessary precautions in cooperation with law enforcement agencies; there will be sufficient external security personnel present as observers in the visiting area.

No visits will be allowed outside the specified days and hours; convicts and detainees who have visited once, as well as visitors, will not be granted permission for a second visit for any reason. Convicts and detainees who have been definitively sentenced to disciplinary punishment of deprivation of visitor acceptance and placement in a cell will not be able to benefit from open visits.
