Actress Ece Dizdar shared how her relationship with her husband began and the unusual marriage proposal she received. Dizdar's remark about her husband's character, "He could even cut off his arm just to make a joke," caught attention.
Ece Dizdar was a guest on the program with Saba Tümer, broadcasted on CNBC-e. The actress, who answered the questions of the host Saba Tümer, shared that her relationship with her husband Serdar began during the pandemic and that the marriage proposal happened in quite an unusual way.
“WE GOT CLOSER DURING THE PANDEMIC”
Ece Dizdar stated that she had known her husband for many years, but their relationship developed during the pandemic, using the following expressions:
“We had known each other for years, but we got closer during the pandemic. We were sharing our loneliness in the Zoom meetings of the Actors' Union. Then those meetings turned into silly Zoom parties. The thing that connected us was joy.”

Dizdar, who said that the marriage proposal was quite interesting, used the following words:
“Serdar could even cut off his arm just to make a joke. One day he took out the ring. Then he said to me, ‘I don’t want to get married.’ He didn’t want to get married but was proposing at the same time. He got into this just because he didn’t want to lose me. He proposed to me saying, ‘I can’t let this girl go.’ So he proposed unwillingly.”
