Fenerbahçe's star Edin Dzeko has been found to have a fracture in his hand. However, the Bosnian forward will not be sidelined and will continue to play with a special bandage.
The Super Lig giant Fenerbahçe defeated Anderlecht 3-0 in the first match of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 play-off, with goals from Dusan Tadic, Edin Dzeko, and Youssef En-Nesyri.
DZEKO HAS A FRACTURE IN HIS HAND
It was revealed that Edin Dzeko, who scored his goal in the 42nd minute and was substituted for Anderson Talisca in the 75th minute, has a fracture in his hand.
However, Dzeko will not be sidelined and will continue to play with a special bandage. Previously, Mert Hakan Yandaş from Fenerbahçe also fought with a special bandage despite his fracture. Dzeko has scored 12 goals in the Super Lig, 4 goals in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, and 3 goals in the Europa League this season. The 38-year-old player scored his 19th goal for Fenerbahçe this season.
