An operation was carried out against 18 doctors who were found to have prepared for the Medical Specialization Exam (TUS) in FETÖ's dormitories or camps in 10 provinces centered around Istanbul. Among the doctors identified as actively working, 18 were also detained.

The Istanbul Police Department's Smuggling Crimes Investigation Branch teams determined that the FETÖ/PDY organization organized camps in their own dormitories for students studying medicine to prepare for the TUS exam during their ongoing operations against the organization.

THEY HAD SECRET COMMUNICATION METHODS

Based on the statements of individuals previously detained for FETÖ membership, the teams identified suspects who confessed to being members of the FETÖ terrorist organization, those who were found to have increased their accounts by depositing money into Bankasya accounts in accordance with the instructions of the organization leader, or those who used the sequential calling method as a secret communication method of the organization.

THEY WERE CAUGHT IN SIMULTANEOUS OPERATIONS

18 doctors were identified as suspects who participated in the TUS camp created under the guise of studying, held in dormitories belonging to the organization. Simultaneous operations were conducted on April 27 in Istanbul, Afyonkarahisar, Ağrı, Çorum, Elazığ, Kars, Kocaeli, Şanlıurfa, Ankara, and Antalya targeting all active doctors.

All suspects were captured and taken into custody during the operation. A large number of digital materials were seized during searches conducted at the suspects' addresses. The suspects were taken to the police for processing.
