In the Ünye district of Ordu, a 9-year-old boy named E.T. lost his life in an accident involving an electric bicycle, while his 11-year-old friend was injured. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
ELECTRIC BICYCLE COLLIDED WITH A CONTAINER AND THEN A WALL
The incident occurred on Çiftekuyu Street in the Çamurlu neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the electric bicycle used by 11-year-old B.S. went out of control while going downhill on the street, first colliding with a trash container and then with a wall. As a result of the impact, B.S. was thrown from the electric bicycle, and E.T. (9), who was sitting behind him, was injured.
THE YOUNG CHILD LOST HIS LIFE
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured children were taken to a private hospital in the district after the initial interventions at the scene. E.T., who was in critical condition, was transferred to Samsun after the intervention performed there.
E.T., a 4th-grade student at Ünye Prof. Dr. Necmettin Polvan Primary School, continued to receive treatment in Samsun but unfortunately lost his life despite all the efforts of the doctors. While B.S., who was injured in the accident, continues to receive treatment, an investigation has been initiated regarding the accident. - ORDU
