In her post, Erdogan congratulated all mothers on Mother's Day, respectfully commemorated mothers of martyrs, and stated that she feels the pain experienced by Palestinian mothers deeply in her heart.

"MOTHERS ARE THE GREATEST LIGHT THIS WORLD HAS"
In her post, Emine Erdoğan stated, "Some carry their child in their heart, some are the greatest support for their offspring, some become a source of hope with their resilience despite the difficulties they face. Mothers are the greatest light this world has. As long as they exist, there is no darkness. I respectfully commemorate the valuable mothers of our martyrs, especially the Diyarbakır Mothers who yearn for their children. I feel the pain of Palestinian mothers in the deepest part of my heart, and I wish each of them patience and strength. Against oppression and captivity, I wholeheartedly salute the heroic women who, first and foremost as mothers, are symbols of resistance. To our miraculous foster mothers, whose love makes a child's future possible, I offer my sincerest gratitude. I congratulate all mothers on Mother's Day and remember our departed elders with mercy."
