İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu commemorated the master actor Kadir İnanır, who lost his life at the rally in Ankara Tandoğan Square. Stating that İnanır was a 50-year friend for him, Dervişoğlu said, "He was my leftist older brother, and I was his idealist younger brother," adding that their friendship was not a product of ideological differences but of shared human values.

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu took the stage after raising the Turkish flag at a rally held in Ankara's Tandoğan Square. Speaking at the rally, which began with the playing of the National Anthem, Dervişoğlu commemorated the late master actor Kadir İnanır.

"HE WAS KADIR İNANIR FOR TÜRKİYE"

Starting his speech by remembering Kadir İnanır, Dervişoğlu said, "As you know, unfortunately we lost Kadir İnanır yesterday. He was Kadir İnanır for Türkiye. He was the lofty peak of Yeşilçam. He was Tatar Ramazan, Driver İlyas; he gave life to many characters."

"HE WAS MY LEFTIST BIG BROTHER"

Stating that he had a half-century-long friendship with İnanır, Dervişoğlu said, "If I, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, cannot pray for mercy for my 50-year-old big brother from Allah, and if I sink into hypocrisy over this, then let this politics sink. Those who refrain from praying for Allah's mercy should be ashamed, not me."

Dervişoğlu continued his words as follows:

"He was my leftist big brother. I was his nationalist brother. Our friendship, love, and respect for each other were the product of common human values, not differences of opinion. May your place be in heaven, my brother. We will never forget you."
