President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements during the G20 Leaders Summit held in Brazil. Referring to the Israeli massacre in Gaza, President Erdoğan called for a ceasefire to the world.

Erdoğan stated: "The risk of famine in Gaza has reached 'disaster' level according to international classifications. 96% of the Gaza population, in other words, more than 2 million people, do not have access to healthy food and water. (In Gaza) As Turkey, we have provided more than 86 thousand tons of aid to the region, and our aid to Lebanon has exceeded 1300 tons. Once again, I call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the face of the humanitarian disaster occurring in Gaza."
