With the decree published in the Official Gazette signed by President Erdoğan, 7 governors were reassigned to central positions, and the governors of 19 cities were changed. Hülya Kaya, the governor of Yalova where the conflict with ISIS occurred and resulted in the martyrdom of 3 of our police officers, was also among the governors reassigned.

With the decree published in the Official Gazette, new governors were appointed to 19 cities, while 7 governors were recalled to the center.

YALOVA GOVERNOR HÜLYA KAYA RECALLED TO THE CENTER

Yalova's Governor Hülya Kaya, who was among those recalled, is included in the list of governors after 3 police officers were martyred in a clash with the ISIS terrorist organization last week. Ahmet Hamdi Usta, the Governor of Bingöl, was appointed in Kaya's place.

With the decision published with the signature of President Erdoğan, Düzce Governor Selçuk Arslan, Iğdır Governor Ercan Turan, Aksaray Governor Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoğlu, Yalova Governor Hülya Kaya, Eskişehir Governor Hüseyin Aksoy, Denizli Governor Ömer Faruk Çoşkun, and Trabzon Governor Aziz Yıldırım were appointed to the position of Governor-Inspector General.

IZMIR PROVINCIAL DIRECTOR REMOVED FROM OFFICE

With the decision, İzmir Provincial Director Melih Keleş was removed from office at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and Aydın Provincial Director Abdullah Kömürcüoğlu was appointed to İzmir Provincial Directorate, while Bilecik Provincial Director İlkay Türkoğlu was appointed to Aydın Provincial Directorate. In the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Inspector Ersoy İşleyen was appointed as Chief Inspector.
