European Stocks Close Week In Red

All major indices close Friday with loses.

All European markets closed Friday with loses, amid inflationary concerns and the ongoing tension between Russia and Ukraine.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, dropped 8.91 points, or 1.84%, to 474.44.


The UK's FTSE 100 index ended at 7,494.13, down 90.88 points, or 1.2%.

Germany's DAX 30 was down 1.94%, or 308.45 points to 15,603.88.


France's CAC 40 decreased 1.75%, or 125.57 points, to 7,068.59 points.

Italy's FTSE MIB was down 508.6 points, or 1.84%, at 27,061.4 and Spain's IBEX 35 lost 119.9 points, or 1.36%, to 8,694.7.

Almost all markets in Asia closed the week with loses.

Turkiye's BIST 100 index closed at 2,011.16 points, down 0.15%. -
