While walking on the street with her boyfriend Erkan K. (37) in Kagithane, Sibel A. (45) encountered her ex-boyfriend Kenan A. (44). The argument between the parties quickly turned into an armed fight. Kenan A. opened fire on Sibel A. and Erkan K. The seriously injured couple was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and it was learned that both were in life-threatening condition. HE BLOCKED THEIR PATH AND OPENED FIRE
The incident occurred in the Celiktepe neighborhood on Wednesday, August 5, at around 00:30. According to the information obtained, Kenan A. and Sibel A. broke up some time ago. On the day of the incident, Sibel A. started walking on the street with her boyfriend Erkan K. after doing grocery shopping. At that moment, Sibel A. and her boyfriend Erkan K. encountered the woman's ex-boyfriend, Kenan A. The argument that started between the parties quickly turned into a fight. Drawing his gun, Kenan A. opened fire on the couple.
THEY WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED
The two lovers, hit by the bullets, were injured in their abdomens and legs. Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the first intervention by health teams, the injured were taken to Seyrantepe Hamidiye Training and Research Hospital. It was learned that Sibel A. and Erkan K., who were taken under treatment, were in life-threatening condition.
MOTORCYCLE POLICE CAUGHT HIM
Motorcycle police teams affiliated with the Kagithane Patrol Teams Directorate, who started an investigation, detained Kenan A., who was determined to have carried out the attack. The unlicensed pistol converted from a blank gun used in the incident was also seized on Kenan A. In his statement, the detained Kenan A. claimed that Sibel A. and Erkan K. threatened and insulted him, and therefore he opened fire on the couple.
In the examination conducted by police teams, it was determined that the attacker Kenan A. had 3 records at the police for the crime of 'Threat'. It was learned that the injured Sibel A. had 20 prior criminal records, and Erkan K. had 2. After the procedures at the police station were completed, Kenan A. was referred to the courthouse.
