EXPLOSION IN AN APARTMENT
An explosion, believed to be caused by natural gas, occurred on the 6th floor of a 6-story apartment building located at Borsa Meydanı in Hıdırağa Mahallesi.
Upon notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Teams took extensive security measures in the area.
2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
It was determined that 2 people died at the scene during the explosion. 5 injured individuals were taken to hospitals by ambulances for treatment after initial intervention by health teams. The explosion caused damage to the apartment as well as the building's exterior. Police and fire teams continue their investigations at the scene.
