The President of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, responded to the statement of the CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who said, "The Communications Presidency has sent notes to the AK Party's members of parliament for them to speak on television," by stating, "This clearly shows how little he understands our state."

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel spoke at his party's rally in Istanbul Başakşehir. Özel, who made allegations against the Communication Directorate, said, "Today, the Communication Directorate of the AK Party, or rather the Presidency, has sent notes to AK Party members of parliament about what to say on television."

"HE HAS REVEALED HOW LITTLE HE KNOWS OUR STATE"
Altun stated, "The statements of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel regarding our Communication Directorate clearly reveal how little he knows our state. For this reason, I find it beneficial to once again share the duties and activities of the Presidency's Communication Directorate with the public."
Our Communication Directorate ensures the flow of accurate information, fights against disinformation, and defends the truth. Therefore, it provides information to all public authorities and delivers the facts to our citizens.
The Communication Directorate conducts strategic communication activities in line with the vision of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, organizes campaigns, and repeatedly explains the actions of our state one by one. For this reason, it constantly produces content and reaches national and international public audiences," he stated.
"WE PROVIDE INFORMATION THAT PROTECTS OUR NATIONAL INTERESTS"
In the continuation of his statement, Altun said, "The Communication Directorate also carries out public diplomacy activities. It presents the Turkey brand to the world with pride, shows, tells, and announces it. Therefore, it provides information that protects our national interests to all international counterparts.
Our Communication Directorate is a communication bridge between our state and our nation. It listens to the concerns of our citizens, conveys them to the relevant authorities, follows up on solutions, and informs them. For this reason, it is the door of our state; it is the servant of our citizens.
Our Communication Directorate respects the rights of media workers, creates a safe media ecosystem, and always stands by them. It is always a supporter of all national and international press representatives," he wrote.

The Communication Director concluded his statements as follows: "The Communication Directorate, with its members working day and night in Turkey and around the world, elevates the power of our flag with their hard work. So who would be disturbed by this? Those who produce disinformation to the international media and complain about our country...
Our Communication Directorate announces all these efforts to every citizen, from our teachers to our doctors, from our business people to our farmers, from our members of parliament to our retirees.
Özgür Özel has twisted the matter regarding politicians; he is trying to humiliate us in the squares. Together with all our friends, we will continue our fight for the truth; you cannot intimidate us or make us submit.
