After the release decision, Dilan Polat went to the prison where her husband was detained with only her siblings and lawyer. Alper Kürşat Polat's fiancée Hazal Erdoğan also went to the prison with her mother-in-law Şükran Polat. It was remarkable that the two sisters-in-law, Dilan and Hazal, who used to go together before, did not show any signs of being together. On the other hand, Engin Polat's sister Kübra Uzun did not meet with Dilan Polat at all. It was also seen that Uzun only met her brother Alper in the evening and did not share any posts with her brother. Dilan Polat did not make any posts after her father-in-law and Alper Kürşat's release.

On the other hand, Dilan Polat, Hazal Erdoğan, and Kübra Uzun did not sit together in the hearings either. After the hearings, Dilan Polat thanked Sevinç Horoz and Enes Çetinkaya as her lawyers, while Hazal Erdoğan thanked Hüseyin Kaya, whom Dilan Polat had previously asked to withdraw from the case.
