Famous actor Umut Avcı, known for his films Hep Yek, Verkaç, Ailecek Şaşkınız, Bir Zamanlar Kıbrıs, and Kıbrıs Zafere Doğru, passed away at the age of 44.
"WE LOST OUR BELOVED"
44-year-old Umut Avcı was hospitalized 15 days ago after suffering a blood clot in his brain. Despite the interventions, the actor could not be saved and passed away today. The sad news was announced on Avcı's Instagram account, stating, "We lost our beloved Umut. The funeral will take place after the afternoon prayer at Edirne Eski Mosque and he will be buried in Yenişehir Cemetery. Our condolences."
Sadri Alışık Cultural Center also expressed their condolences in a shared post, saying, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our valuable actor Umut Avcı, who graduated from Sadri Alışık Cultural Center in Istanbul and appeared in many of our theater plays.
