NOTABLE DETAIL IN NOA LANG'S TRANSFER
It has been claimed that Galatasaray signed an unusual contract with the Italian club for Noa Lang, who was loaned with a purchase option during the mid-season transfer period. The yellow-reds added the Dutch player to their squad for a loan fee of 2 million euros and a purchase option of 28 million euros, amid interest from PSV Eindhoven and Roma.
UNPRECEDENTED CLAUSE IN THE CONTRACT
According to a report in Türkiye newspaper, a special clause was added to Noa Lang's contract as a result of approximately 4 days of negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli. Accordingly, if Galatasaray does not exercise the player's purchase option at the end of the season, they will pay Napoli 2 million euros in compensation.
COST DOUBLES
If this clause comes into effect, the loan cost of Noa Lang to Galatasaray will rise from 2 million euros to 4 million euros. Thus, even if the yellow-reds only loan the young player for one season, they will have to part with a significant amount.
