"HE PASSED AWAY HALF AN HOUR AFTER I LEFT"
İbrahim Tatlıses, who spoke at the ceremony held in the garden of Galatasaray High School, couldn't hold back his tears. Tatlıses said, "Aydemir never asked anyone for money or help. He only expected love from everyone. I loved him, and he loved me too. There's a lot to tell, but it can't fit into 2 minutes like this. I understood that he wanted to see me in his last breath, so I went. I went into intensive care, and he was as white as a baby. I put my right hand on his left knee. I said, 'I'm here, my buddy, I came.' Half an hour after I left, he passed away. 'Did you wait for me, Aydemir? Thank you.' Our condolences to everyone."
Aydemir Akbaş, who was born in Istanbul Feriköy in 1936, will be buried after the funeral prayer at Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque in Levent following the noon prayer.
