The terrifying moments were captured on security camera. In the incident at an industrial site, the hydraulic jack suddenly gave way, leaving the father and son under the truck. The injured were rescued with the help of local tradespeople and taken to the hospital.
TRAPPED UNDER THE TRUCK
The incident occurred yesterday around 5:00 PM at a repair workshop in Yeni Sanayi Site, Bahçesaray District. Bahattin Uslu and his son Mehmet Uslu raised the right side of the truck they intended to repair using a hydraulic jack. The father and son then went under the truck to begin the repair work.
NEIGHBORING SHOPKEEPERS RUSHED TO HELP
At that moment, the jack suddenly gave way, trapping Bahattin Uslu and his son Mehmet Uslu under the truck. When the intervention of those in the workshop proved insufficient, help was sought from nearby shopkeepers. After intense efforts by neighboring tradespeople, the truck was lifted again, and the father and son were pulled out; medical teams were notified.
HOSPITALIZED FOR TREATMENT
Bahattin Uslu and his son Mehmet Uslu were taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by an ambulance dispatched to the scene and are receiving treatment.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
