The reason for the massacre in Kastamonu yesterday, in which 4 people from the same family were killed, has emerged. It was claimed that the incident, in which a father, his two sons, and an uncle lost their lives, stemmed from an argument about passing through a field with a tractor. The murder suspect and his father were referred to the courthouse.
In the Taşköprü district of Kastamonu, the suspect, who shot and killed with a gun the 4 people with whom he was feuding and had argued in the field, and his father were referred to the courthouse.
The incident occurred yesterday in Akdeğirmen village of Taşköprü district. According to information obtained, an argument broke out between Ç.A., who is alleged to have had a prior feud with them, and İlhan Karasu, his sons Ali Karasu and Sefa Karasu, and his brother Halit Karasu.
ARGUMENT OVER PASSING THROUGH THE FIELD WITH A TRACTOR TURNED INTO A MASSACRE
During sugar beet harvesting in the field, when an argument alleged to have broken out over passing through the field with a tractor turned into a fight, Ç.A. opened fire on the Karasu family with the handgun he had with him. İlhan Karasu and his sons Sefa and Ali Karasu and his brother Halit Karasu, who were the targets of the bullets, lost their lives at the scene.
MURDER SUSPECT AND HIS FATHER DETAINED
Ç.A., who left the scene, went to Alatarla Gendarmerie Station and surrendered. The murder suspect Ç.A. and his father M.A., who were taken into custody in connection with the incident, were referred to Taşköprü Courthouse after proceedings at the District Gendarmerie Command.
THE 4 PEOPLE WHO DIED WERE BURIED
The bodies of İlhan Karasu, his sons Sefa and Ali, and İlhan Karasu's brother Halit Karasu, who lost their lives in the armed fight, were taken from the morgue of Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital and brought to İmamlar Neighborhood of Akdeğirmen village. After the noon prayer in the village square, funeral prayers were performed separately for the 4 people. The bodies were later buried in the family cemetery.
The funeral was attended by relatives of the family as well as AK Party Kastamonu MP Halil Uluay, AK Party Provincial Chairman Ahmet Sevgilioğlu, and village residents.
