The most popular travel routes in Europe for the year 2025 have been determined. Among the destinations that tourists will prefer the most, there are many cities famous for their historical and natural beauty. These routes promise tourists an unforgettable travel experience.
The famous Forbes magazine published a survey in 2025 about the best travel destinations in Europe. More than 1 million people voted in the highly anticipated survey. As a result of the voting, Croatia took the first place.
CROATIA WAS CHOSEN FIRST
Forbes listed 10 countries in the survey. Users from 139 countries participated in the survey and voted for the most tourist-friendly country among these countries. 55% of the voters were from Europe, while 45% were international, especially from the USA (27%) and the UK (20%). Croatia was chosen as the best country to visit in Europe in 2025, surpassing Spain (2nd), Austria (3rd), Italy (4th), and Greece (5th).

From historic towns to its lush nature and world-class sailing routes, Croatia has much to offer to attract visitors.
TURKEY ENTERED THE LIST IN EIGHTH PLACE
Turkey entered the list in eighth place, where Portugal was chosen as the 6th and France as the 7th country. Forbes magazine frequently emphasized Istanbul in its statements about Turkey. The statement included the following remarks: Turkey, which connects Europe and Asia, has some of the most fascinating cities in the world, especially for Western visitors. Although Istanbul is culturally a modern Western city, it still retains the characteristics of a traditional Eastern city. The Topkapi Palace, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul are all must-see places, located alongside stylish hotels, shops, and restaurants. Outside of Istanbul, Ankara, Bodrum, Marmaris, and Ölüdeniz are also worth seeing.
