Journalist Fatih Altaylı, who is being tried on charges of "threatening the President" due to expressions used in his YouTube broadcast, has been sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison. During his time in detention, Altaylı continued his broadcasts by sending letters from prison, and he announced that he had paused his programs citing health issues after the first hearing held at the beginning of October.
ALTAYLI'S BROADCASTS WILL CONTINUE
Journalist Şule Aydın, speaking on TV screens, announced that Altaylı has decided to resume his YouTube broadcasts. Aydın stated, "Fatih Altaylı is doing very well. His morale is also very good. You will hear his voice again very soon, maybe in a day or a few days, and he will start continuing his broadcasts."
Aydın also mentioned that the "empty chair" concept, which has been continued in Altaylı's absence, will persist, and the letters he sent from prison will be presented on screen in the same way.
