The 3rd Ordinary Congress of the New Welfare Party was held. With the participation of approximately 100,000 people, the congress became the largest congress in Turkish political history. The sole candidate of the congress, Fatih Erbakan, the Chairman of the New Welfare Party, stated, "When we come to power, we will close down LGBT associations, which are a sign of immorality."

We will establish a justice system that does not consider the strong as right, but makes the right strong, inshallah. Again, when we are in power, we will abolish the climate law and the mining law that are contrary to the interests of our nation. We will close LGBT associations, which are a sign of immorality."

Recalling that they have achieved significant successes in the 7 years since their establishment, Erbakan noted that they are the third largest party in Turkey in terms of membership, with over 650,000 members.



Claiming that the trust in justice in Turkey has decreased, Erbakan said, "We are here for a just order, for justice in the judiciary. We will come and solve all these injustices, inshallah." he stated.



Erbakan said, "It is time for our country, our present, and our future to come together and gather under the leadership of our New Welfare Party to claim what is rightfully ours." He stated that this strong unity is the common gathering area of parties in Turkish politics.
