THEY HAD WITHDRAWN FROM TURKEY
In a statement made by organization members at the foothills of Mount Qandil near the city of Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, it was announced that armed elements within Turkey's borders were withdrawn to northern Iraq in accordance with the decisions made at the congress in May under the guidance of Abdullah Öcalan.
THEY HAD BURNED THEIR WEAPONS ON JULY 11

A group of PKK members came to the Jasana Cave in the high mountain valley behind Kani Han Village on the Sulaymaniyah-Dukan road and later surrendered their weapons. The weapons were recorded here and then destroyed by being burned in cauldrons.
