A dispute between an İETT bus driver in Istanbul and a passenger who claimed he did not tap his card escalated into a fight. The passenger repeatedly punched the driver in the head. As the driver accelerated quickly, passengers were at risk of falling, and amid the shouting, the babies on the bus began to cry.
A dispute on two separate İETT buses in Istanbul turned into a fight.
The first incident occurred on Thursday, September 25, around 3:00 PM in Fatih Balat. According to the claim, the İETT bus driver approached the stop to pick up passengers. A passenger who boarded the bus proceeded to the back without tapping their card. After the driver's warning, a dispute broke out between the parties.

As the argument escalated into a fight, the passenger approached the driver and punched him in the head. After the fight, as the driver quickly accelerated, passengers were at risk of falling; a baby on the bus started crying due to the commotion. As other passengers intervened, the parties were separated, and the fight was captured on a mobile phone camera.
A "YOU STEPPED ON MY FOOT" FIGHT AMONG PASSENGERS
The other incident occurred on Monday, October 6, around 2:00 PM in the Kağıthane 4. Levent area. According to the claim, a passenger boarded the İETT bus from the back door due to the crowd. As the passenger moved towards the middle, they stepped on another passenger's foot. After the passenger whose foot was stepped on reacted, a dispute began between the two passengers. Other passengers on the bus separated the parties who were pushing each other. The events were captured on a mobile phone camera.
