In a fire that broke out at the food factory owned by Aksular in the Çorum Organized Industrial Zone, 7 people were affected by smoke. The fire, which experienced occasional explosions, was brought under control by the intervention of the teams.

A fire broke out in the production section of the food factory belonging to the Aksular company located on 16th Street in the Çorum Organized Industrial Zone for unknown reasons.
7 PEOPLE AFFECTED BY SMOKE
The fire, which grew rapidly, engulfed the factory. Upon notification, a large number of firefighters, the Forest Management Directorate, as well as gendarmerie and health teams were dispatched to the scene. While the teams evacuated the employees in the factory, 7 people were affected by smoke.
The flames engulfing the factory, where explosions occurred intermittently, were captured from the air.
UNDER CONTROL
With approximately 2 hours of firefighting efforts, the fire was brought under control. Çorum Mayor Halil İbrahim Aşgın, who arrived at the scene to conduct investigations, received information from the firefighting teams regarding the fire.
In later statements, Mayor Aşgın said, "Immediately after iftar, we received a notification at our municipality. Following the notification, we reached the scene as quickly as possible. The fire in our factory producing baked goods was very large. The fire is now largely under control. I wish a speedy recovery to the factory employees and all our workers. May God never show us this again. I congratulate our firefighters. They brought it under control with a very fast, on-site, timely, and intensive effort. Cooling efforts are still ongoing," he said.
