After the legislative proposal known publicly as the 'framework law' — the 'Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion' — was accepted with 468 'yes' votes in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and became law, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli met with TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş. In his first assessment following the meeting, in response to journalists' questions, Bahçeli said, 'May it be auspicious and beneficial.'
Following the acceptance and enactment of the Draft Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, known publicly as the 'framework law,' in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) General Assembly, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli held a meeting for a while with TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş in the Advisory Board meeting hall located at the rear section of the General Assembly hall.
FIRST COMMENT FROM BAHÇELİ
After the meeting, Bahçeli left through the honor gate of the General Assembly. When journalists asked about the enactment of the law proposal, Bahçeli said, "May it be auspicious and beneficial."
MHP DEPUTIES KISSED HIS HAND
As Bahçeli was leaving the TBMM, his aides accompanied him. While MHP deputies saw Bahçeli off to his vehicle, they kissed his hand.
