In Aksaray, two cousins threatened a shopkeeper via social media, then opened fire with a gun before assaulting him and disappearing.
In the Hacılar Harmanı neighborhood of the central district in Aksaray, the owner of a car wash, G.Ş., was attacked by his rivals, two cousins named M.G. and B.G., while washing a vehicle in the evening hours.
THEY FIRST OPENED FIRE, THEN BEAT AND FLED
Two cousins, who had previously threatened on social media and opened fire with a gun while approaching the shop, then got out of the vehicle and beat 42-year-old G.Ş., who was alone in the shop, with sticks. The individuals who hit G.Ş. on the head with sticks quickly left the scene by getting into the vehicle they arrived in.
HEALTH CONDITION IS GOOD
Nearby tradesmen who heard the gunshots reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While the police teams took security measures around the area and initiated an investigation regarding the incident, the medical teams took the injured person, who was hit on the head, into the ambulance and provided first aid. It was learned that the health condition of the injured person, who was taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital, is good.
THE TWO FLEEING COUSINS ARE BEING SOUGHT EVERYWHERE
The teams of the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch have started working to capture the two fleeing suspects.
