Five high school students who purchased chicken döner from a chain market in Karaman fell ill and were taken to the hospital. It was reported that some of the students are in serious condition.
After eating chicken döner purchased from a chain market in Karaman, 5 high school students fell ill and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Five high school students who went shopping at a market for lunch at Temizel-Ünlü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School suddenly fell ill during class after consuming chicken döner, raw meatballs, chips, and cola.
5 STUDENTS HOSPITALIZED
As complaints such as dizziness, nausea, and vomiting increased, school officials reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the initial intervention by the health teams that arrived at the school, the students were taken to Karaman Training and Research Hospital by ambulances. The students, who were treated in the children's ward of the hospital, were given oxygen and IV fluids.
"WE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE MARKET"
Hatice Topal, who stated that she is complaining about the market after her grandchild was hospitalized, said, "After consuming the chicken döner, raw meatballs, chips, and cola they bought, they were poisoned and brought to the hospital by ambulances. My grandchild and a friend's condition is a bit serious, while the others are in mild condition and their treatments are ongoing. My grandchild and her friend's treatment is continuing due to shortness of breath. We are complaining about the market, and they should be inspected frequently. What happened to our children could happen to other children as well."
648 PEOPLE POISONED IN KOCAELİ
Recently, in the Körfez district of Kocaeli, 648 people were poisoned from chicken döner, and K.Y., one of the arrested owners of the business, claimed in his statement that he did not know why the poisoning incidents occurred.
