Forest fire in Ödemiş, İzmir! Teams have started a race against time.

Forest fire in Ödemiş district of İzmir is being intervened by teams from the air and land.

A forest fire broke out in the rural Artıcak neighborhood of Ödemiş, at Subatan Yaylası location, at 15.35 for reasons yet to be determined.

INTERVENTION STARTED WITH A LARGE NUMBER OF AIRCRAFT

4 planes, 5 helicopters, 20 fire trucks, 6 water supply vehicles, 4 bulldozers, and 4 ground teams from İzmir Forest Regional Directorate were dispatched to the area. It was stated that the fire broke out at 15.35 and the first intervention was made at 15.45. The teams continue their efforts to bring the fire under control by intervening from the air and land.
