At Boğaziçi University, 6 out of 15 people who protested the conference attended by Nurettin Yıldız were arrested. 9 others were released with a request for judicial control.
Fifteen people were detained while trying to protest Nurettin Yıldız, who participated as a speaker in the conference titled "Islamic Sciences: For Whom, How Much?" organized by the Bosphorus University Islamic Studies Club (BİSAK). The individuals, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the Duty Magistrate Court with a request for arrest.
4 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED
Of the 15 individuals whose questioning procedures were completed at the Magistrate Court, 4 were arrested and sent to prison for the crime of "resisting the performance of duty." Four others were released under judicial control measures of "prohibition from leaving the country" and "signature." Meanwhile, it was learned that the procedures for 7 individuals at the Magistrate Court were still ongoing.
