President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed a decision regarding the free public transportation services for customs and forest protection officers.

The decision regarding the identification of those who will benefit from certain goods and services produced by public institutions and organizations for free or at a discount has been published in the Official Gazette and has come into effect.

Effective from today, customs enforcement officers and forest enforcement officers have gained the right to benefit from municipal public transport vehicles free of charge until December 31, 2027.

WHO WILL TRAVEL FOR FREE?

With the decision, two different groups of personnel working in the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will be able to travel for free.

METRO, BUS, TRAM WILL BE FREE

With the decision, municipal buses, metro, and trams, which belong to municipalities, will be available for free use in urban transportation.
