Gökçe, who was stabbed by her spouse: "He got angry when I said I wanted a divorce."

A young woman who was stabbed by her husband at her mother's house in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara is still receiving treatment. The 21-year-old woman said, "I told him that I wanted a divorce and that I wouldn't be coming back home. After that, he got angry with me. He went to the kitchen and took a knife. He stabbed me in the stomach, back, and legs."

Alihan E. went to his mother-in-law's house yesterday to talk to Gökçe Nur E., who left the house saying she wanted a divorce. Alihan E. entered the house in the Satıkadın neighborhood while his mother-in-law was not there and tried to convince his wife. However, Gökçe Nur E. said she wanted a divorce and did not want to return home.

CLIMBED OUT OF THE WINDOW AND ASKED FOR HELP

In response, Alihan E. injured his wife Gökçe Nur E. and his brother-in-law K.Ö. (5) with a knife. Gökçe Nur E. climbed out of the window in a wounded state and asked for help. At that moment, Alihan E. also injured himself with a knife and fled. Shortly after, Alihan E. was caught by the police, and Gökçe Nur E. and her brother were taken to the hospital for treatment.

"I CLIMBED OUT OF THE WINDOW IN FEAR"

Gökçe Nur E., who is being treated at Kahramankazan State Hospital, recounted her experiences. Gökçe Nur E. said, "He came to me yesterday. I told him that I wanted a divorce and that I would not return home. After that, he got angry with me. He went to the kitchen and took a knife in his hand. He stabbed my stomach, my back, and my legs with the knife. Then my little brother tried to resist. At that moment, he also stabbed my brother. Out of fear from that moment, I climbed out of the window and asked for help. I said, 'Call an ambulance, help me.' At that moment, my husband started stabbing himself with the knife. Then he fled," she said.

"TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HIS MOTHER-IN-LAW NOT BEING HOME"

Büşra Bozkurt, who lives on the upper floor of the apartment where the incident occurred, said, "The injured woman and child were covered in blood. The attacker took advantage of his mother-in-law not being home and entered the house." The treatments of K.Ö., who was transferred to Etlik City Hospital, and Alihan E., who was taken to Yenimahalle State Hospital, are also ongoing.
