U.S. President Donald Trump issued a message before the U.S.-Canada hockey match scheduled for today, saying, "I wish our team victory against Canada, which may soon become our valuable and very important 51st state."

In a statement on his Truth Social account, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his message referring to Canada as the "51st state."

MENTIONED THE 51ST STATE ONCE AGAIN

Trump, wishing success to the American team before the U.S.-Canada hockey match to be held this evening local time, stated, "I will call our great American hockey team today and wish them victory against Canada, which will one day, perhaps very soon, become our valuable and very important 51st state with much lower taxes and more security."

REFERRED TO THE CANADIAN PRIME MINISTER AS GOVERNOR

Trump, who once again referred to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as "Governor Trudeau," noted that he would not be able to attend the match due to another engagement but mentioned that Trudeau is invited to watch the game if he wishes.
