The Press Advertisement Agency, in collaboration with Türkiye Sigorta AŞ, offers significant discounts on insurance products for press employees. Important discounts will be applied to motor vehicle, home, personal accident, health, and travel insurance.
The Press Advertisement Institution (BİK) has collaborated with Türkiye Sigorta AŞ to apply high discounts on a wide range of insurance products for press employees.
According to a statement from BİK, the institution aims to produce permanent and field-related gains on behalf of the press sector and, in this regard, collaborated with Türkiye Sigorta AŞ on January 10, the Journalists' Day. As a result of discussions between General Manager Abdulkadir Çay and Türkiye Sigorta AŞ's Deputy Chairman of the Board and General Manager Taha Çakmak, the initiative aims to enable press employees to benefit advantageously from insurance support. Under the collaboration, those employed in accredited newspapers, magazines, and internet news sites by BİK, as well as their first-degree relatives, will be able to benefit from discounted insurance products offered by Türkiye Sigorta AŞ.
DISCOUNTS STARTING FROM 60%
Support for the press covers a wide range, primarily including comprehensive, home, personal accident, health, and travel insurances. In this context, a 60% discount is applied for home insurance, a 40% discount for personal accident insurance, and a 25% discount for comprehensive insurance, while advantages ranging from 20% to 25% are offered for supplementary health, private health, travel health, and critical illness insurances for the press community.
12 INSTALLMENTS PAYMENT FACILITY IS ALSO AVAILABLE
A payment facility in 12 installments is also provided for insurance transactions, and the total premiums paid for health, personal accident, and life insurance policies can be deducted from the tax base, provided that they do not exceed 15% of the gross salary and the annual minimum wage amount.
To benefit from the campaign, applications can be made via the email addresses "gm_policeler@turkiyesigorta.com.tr" for comprehensive, personal accident, and home policies, and "saglikgmpoliceler@turkiyesigorta.com.tr" for health insurances.

In the statement, BİK General Manager Abdulkadir Çay emphasized the importance of supporting press employees not only in their professional conditions but also in areas that directly affect their lives, noting that the collaboration initiated on the occasion of January 10, Journalists' Day, is a concrete and meaningful gain for the press.
Çay pointed out that the profession of journalism carries a responsibility that is not limited to working hours, stating, "This reality directly affects the social security needs of press workers who fulfill the responsibility of informing the public under challenging conditions, day and night. As an institution, we are determined to continue increasing support that touches the daily lives of the press community, has a field counterpart, and possesses permanent qualities."
