HE CAME TO FENERBAHÇE FROM ATLETICO MADRID
Çağlar Söyüncü transferred to Fenerbahçe on loan from Atletico Madrid in January 2024. The yellow-navy club paid 2 million euros to the Spanish team for the half-season loan. At the end of the season, Fenerbahçe acquired the national defender's transfer rights for 8.5 million euros and signed a 3+1 year contract with the player. Thus, the total cost paid by the club for Çağlar, including the loan fee and transfer fee, reached 10.5 million euros. According to Transfermarkt data, the current market value of the 30-year-old defender is 3.5 million euros.
