A person who attempted suicide by climbing out of the window of their home in the Mamak district of Ankara pointed a gun at the police. Despite the police's efforts to persuade him, the individual opened fire, and was ultimately neutralized by special operations police, who shot him in the leg.
A person named M.K. in the Mamak district of Ankara attempted suicide by climbing out of the window of his house on Tıp Fakültesi Street around 21:00 due to issues he was experiencing with his ex-wife, from whom he is divorced.
FIRED AT THE SURROUNDINGS WITH A PISTOL
Upon receiving reports from the neighbors who saw the person with a pistol at his window, police, special operations, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Despite the police's efforts, 37-year-old M.K. opened fire at the surroundings with the pistol he had.

Then, M.K., who pointed a gun at the special operations teams that attempted to intervene, was shot in the left leg and neutralized.
TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL
M.K. was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and it was learned that the pistol he had was unlicensed. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
