In the İnegöl district of Bursa, a driver who fled after ignoring a police "stop" warning was only able to stop after crashing into a parked jeep following a chase of approximately 5 kilometers. The driver was fined a total of 550,000 TL.
A female driver who did not comply with the "stop" warning of traffic teams in the İnegöl district of Bursa was caught after a chase and a crash.
The incident occurred in the Turgutalp neighborhood. Teams from the İnegöl Police Department Traffic Bureau, on patrol duty, wanted to stop the car with license plate 16 BJE 566 due to suspicion. However, the driver ignored the police teams' warning and began to flee rapidly.
During the pursuit, which lasted about 5 kilometers, the car went out of control and crashed into a parked jeep with license plate 16 ALT 003. After the crash, the vehicle stopped, and the driver was taken into custody by police teams.
FINE OF 550 THOUSAND TL IMPOSED
Investigations revealed the driver to be Meltem İ. The driver was penalized with a total of 550 thousand TL: 200 thousand TL for "failing to comply with the stop warning," 150 thousand TL for refusing to blow into the alcoholometer, and 200 thousand TL for driving without a license.
Meanwhile, the vehicle used in the escape was banned from traffic for 60 days. The driver, taken into custody, was taken to the police station for procedures.
