25-year-old Deniz İbişler, who was studying at a university in Istanbul, had been missing for 6 days. A heartbreaking message was received from İbişler, who texted a friend, "I even thought about jumping onto the E5 to commit suicide. I'm even afraid to go home." It was determined that İbişler walked towards Beşiktaş on January 25, spent some time in a café, and then jumped into the sea.
25-year-old university student Deniz İbişler, who lives in Eyüpsultan, hung up the phone after talking to his father on the evening of January 24, Saturday. After meeting with his friends in Koşuyolu Kadıköy, it was learned that Deniz İbişler took the metro to go home and later left the metro station. İbişler's message to his friend, "I even thought about committing suicide," raised concerns, while his father, Yüksel İbişler, stated that his son had fallen into depression after returning from abroad.
Missing Deniz İbişler SAD NEWS CAME According to the information conveyed by Rojda Altıntaş; it was determined that Deniz İbişler walked towards Beşiktaş on January 25, spent some time in a café, and then jumped into the sea.
"HIS FRIEND SAID HE HAD BEEN SLEEPLESS FOR A FEW DAYS AND HIS ATTENTION WAS DISTRACTED" Father Yüksel İbişler, who said his son last met with his friend, stated, "My son met with his friend in Koşuyolu around 18:00 - 19:00 on the evening of January 24, they spent a few hours together. His friend dropped him off at the Acıbadem metrobus stop around 22:30 - 23:00. His friend stated that he had been sleepless for a few days, his attention was distracted, and there might be some issues with his orientation. He took the metrobus, he needs to transfer in Mecidiyeköy to reach home. We know that he did not want to wait because there was about 28 minutes until the metro at Yıldız - Mahmutbey Metro station, so he came back out."
"WE KNOW HE GOT OUT OF THE METROBÜS, THERE IS NO OTHER INFORMATION" Father Yüksel İbişler, who said that the search efforts for his son are ongoing, stated, "He probably got bored, he didn't want to wait, we know he came back out. We were able to obtain exit information from the metrobus station, but there is no other information yet. All units of our security organization are coordinating tracking in Istanbul and Ankara, they are conducting technical surveillance. Hopefully, we will reach information about his fate. As soon as possible, the valuable prosecutors of Gaziosmanpaşa Courthouse, due to the district where he resides, have also approached the issue very sensitively, prepared reports, and made missing person notifications. Our Alibeyköy police station received the application, they also guided us and continue to support us, we are exchanging information mutually. So far, at least, we have not reached any technical information at an explainable level," he said.
"THERE IS A WITNESS AT ESENLER BUS TERMINAL" Father Yüksel İbişler, who said he could not reach his son when he called, stated, "We know he did not go home. When I couldn't reach him around 22:00 that night, I got curious through his social media and phone, I had his friends look for him. I also tried to call, but his phone was off. Between 00:00, his phone was off as well, using the municipal bus route towards home, we know he had walked that route a few times in nice weather before. We are now checking that route with my brother and my nephew, who are walking it from start to finish. They are looking for witnesses by asking for information from workplaces, as I mentioned, a report came from Esenler Bus Terminal. One of the vendors there said, 'I saw this kid, we are trying to make contact with him,'" he expressed.
"HE CAME BACK TENSE AFTER GOING ABROAD" Father Yüksel İbişler, who said his son's psychology deteriorated after going abroad, stated, "Information reached that someone resembling him was seen at Üsküdar Post Office around 00:30 last night. We will try to question him shortly, but there is no concrete information. He went abroad to work in the summer and came back tense. He couldn't find the quality of work and income he hoped for there. He came back tense. He was also upset about extending his school. In the last few days, he had been quite sleepless, and his friend he met that evening told us that Deniz was sleepless and his attention was distracted. It could be that his orientation has been disrupted. God forbid, he might have encountered someone bad, we are considering every possibility, and our authorities are evaluating as well. "MY SON WOULD NOT WANT ME TO ENTER HIS HOME" Father Yüksel İbişler stated, "My son would not want me to enter his home. At the beginning of September, when he was in America, I asked him, 'Your house was a bit messy, do you want me to tidy it up?' He said, 'Maybe.' Or maybe I misunderstood. I tidied up the house, cleaned, and swept. Then he reacted to me, saying, 'I can't find my cleats. Why did you mess up my house?' The sentence he sent to his friend, 'I am even afraid to go home now,' might be related to this incident.
In the checks conducted at Deniz İbişler's home, it was found that the house was very messy and had almost turned into a garbage house.
