In the investigation against the Uşak Municipality, it has been revealed that million-dollar VIP vehicle conversion invoices were covered by municipal resources, and striking allegations regarding vehicle ownership have been included in the file. It is also being discussed that one of the converted vehicles belongs to CHP leader Özgür Özel.
New allegations that have emerged in the corruption investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Uşak Municipality have drawn attention. It has been claimed that striking details regarding expenditures made with municipal resources are included in some information and documents that have entered the investigation file.
MILLION-LIRA INVOICE ON BEHALF OF THE MUNICIPALITY
According to the allegations, a total invoice of 7 million 754 thousand TL was issued for two separate Mercedes V300 vehicles on behalf of the Uşak Municipality Social Facilities by the DizaynVIP company. It has been claimed that these invoices were later combined into a single entry.
ALLEGATIONS REGARDING VEHICLE OWNERSHIP ON THE AGENDA
In the examinations conducted within the scope of the investigation, it was claimed that one of the vehicles that underwent VIP conversion was registered in the name of the Uşak Municipality, while the other vehicle was registered in the name of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. Additionally, it was alleged that a "no authorization" warning was given in the system records regarding the second vehicle, but detailed examinations revealed information regarding the ownership of the vehicle. With these developments, it was noted that allegations regarding a VIP conversion made to a vehicle belonging to a politician with municipal resources have been reflected in the investigation file.

It was reported that some statements previously attributed to Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım, which had emerged in the public eye, have started to be discussed again in light of these new allegations. It is stated that such allegations may be examined more broadly in the later stages of the investigation.
PROCESS WITHIN THE PARTY IS BEING DISCUSSED
On the other hand, the fact that the CHP Headquarters has not yet initiated an expulsion process against Özkan Yalım has led to various interpretations in political circles. While various allegations regarding the reason for the silence within the party have been voiced, it has been suggested that prosecution sources believe the investigation could expand with new evidence.
