A person who killed his cousin with a knife along with a friend in Adana said, "My cousin was wandering around aimlessly. When I asked him, 'Why aren't you going to work?' a fight broke out. I beat him with a stick, but I didn't stab him with a knife." Two suspects who were referred to the courthouse were arrested.

On October 13th, around 20:30, a chilling incident occurred in the Ulubatlıhasan neighborhood of the Yüreğir district in Adana. According to allegations, Hüseyin Balkan (38) and his cousin R.B. (35) cursed at each other while talking on the phone. Later, while walking down the street, Balkan encountered his cousin R.B. (35).

MURDERED HIS COUSIN WITH A STICK

The argument between the two cousins quickly escalated into a fight. During the fight, R.B. and his friend U.U. (28) began to beat Balkan with a stick. During the altercation, Balkan collapsed after being stabbed in the back. R.B. and U.U. fled the scene and disappeared. Despite the interventions at the hospital, Balkan could not be saved.

CAUGHT IN THEIR HIDING PLACE

Teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Department pursued the suspects. The homicide team examined the camera footage in the area and identified an apartment in the Gültepe neighborhood of the Sarıçam district where the suspects were hiding. The police conducted an operation at the identified address and apprehended both suspects.

"I BEAT HIM WITH A STICK BUT DID NOT INJURE HIM"

One of the suspects, R.U., who was taken to the police station, said, "My cousin was wandering around aimlessly. I warned him, 'Why aren't you going to work?' Then a fight broke out, and I beat him with a stick. However, I did not injure him with a knife." The other suspect, U.U., defended himself by saying, "I also did not use a knife; I have no connection to the incident."

THEY WERE ARRESTED

After their procedures at the police station, both suspects were referred to the courthouse and were arrested by the court they were brought before.
