In Kahramanmaraş, Muhammet Ali Köşker (26) killed his father Süleyman Köşker (49) by stabbing him in the throat during an argument. The incident occurred in the morning at the Kartepe Site in the Boğaziçi neighborhood. According to allegations, a barber named Muhammet Ali Köşker, who is said to be a substance abuser, got into an argument with his father Süleyman Köşker over 'substance use.' As the argument escalated, Muhammet Ali Köşker attacked his father, who works as a switchboard operator at a university, with a knife and cut his throat. Süleyman Köşker collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood in front of his wife and children, while Muhammet Ali Köşker fled the house.
THE FLEEING SUSPECT WAS CAPTURED
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. It was determined that Süleyman Köşker had lost his life. While Köşker's lifeless body was being removed from the building, his daughter wept. The corpse was taken to the morgue of the Kahramanmaraş Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. Meanwhile, the fleeing suspect was captured near the scene. Köşker, who was determined to have cut his hand during the incident, was taken to the hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
