Coşkun E. shot and killed his wife during an argument in Nevşehir. The individual, who attempted suicide with the same weapon, was seriously injured; an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
A man who shot his wife during an argument in Nevşehir then shot himself with the same gun, sustaining serious injuries.
The incident occurred on the 2nd floor of a 5-story apartment building located on Nur Sultan Nazarbayev Street in the 2000 Evler neighborhood. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Coşkun E. and his wife Kısmet E. for an unknown reason.
KILLED HIS WIFE AND COMMITTED SUICIDE
As the argument escalated, Coşkun E. fired two shots at his wife with the gun he had brought with him, and then attempted suicide with the same gun.
Upon hearing the gunshots, neighbors alerted the authorities, and health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined that Kısmet E. had died at the scene. Coşkun E., who was seriously injured, was taken by ambulance to Nevşehir State Hospital and placed under treatment in the intensive care unit.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
After the examination conducted by the public prosecutor at the scene, Kısmet E.'s body was taken to the morgue of Nevşehir State Hospital. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
