The war that began with the attacks of the United States and Israel on Iran, which has now lasted for a month, has entered a new phase. The U.S. and Israel targeted a petrochemical facility located in the city of Tabriz, aiming at Iran's energy and industrial infrastructure. The Director General of Crisis Management in East Azerbaijan, Majid Farshi, reported that search and rescue operations are ongoing in the area and noted that no dangerous or toxic substances have been released from the facility.

While the attacks by the US and Israel continue, Iranian state television (IRIB) announced the attacks on two major cities in the country.

ATTACK ON MIHRABAD AIRPORT IN TEHRAN

The report stated that in addition to Mihrabad Airport in Tehran, the targets included the Kasri Firuzeh neighborhood, behind Sani Hani Hospital in District 21, Sorhe Hisar Park, the Millibank building in the Fadaiyani Eslam district, a cardboard factory in District 15, and the eastern end of Babayi Highway. No official statement has yet been made regarding the damage at Mihrabad Airport.

US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN

Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28, while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed.
